2016 Homicides

Below, you will find a map and a list of the homicides which occurred in the city and county of Durham, North Carolina in 2016. The list is composed of 45individuals, which includes persons whose deaths were investigated by the City of Durham Police Department and the Durham County Sheriff’s Office. The 45individuals on this list include those I have been able to distinguish through my research of online news articles and quarterly reports posted online by the Durham Police Department. The map below allows you to zoom in and out, and to click on the place marker to learn about each incident.

Underlined names, and blue markers in the map, distinguish officer-involved shootings.
